Preliminary Rounds, National Finals, and IIOT International Finals

The IIOT 2027 International Finals will be held in Varna, Bulgaria.

Schedule Timeline

  • National Finals

    TBD March 20, 2027
    The National Finals will be held tenatively on March 20, 2027 at a designated in-person venue in San Jose, California. The USIOT will determine which teams are online or in-person based on distance from the contest venue. Invitations to participate shall be extended to teams based on cumulative performance in the Preliminary Rounds. Specific dates and location will be communicated no later than 30 days prior to the event.
  • IIOT International Finals

    TBA Late May, 2027
    The IIOT International Finals shall be conducted tenatively in late May, 2027 in Varna, Bulgaria. The team representing the United States shall be determined based on results from the National Finals. Specific dates and logistics will be announced before the National Finals.

2026 National Finalists

National Finals

The National Finals will be held tenatively on March 20, 2027 in San Jose, California. Participation (online or in-person) will be based on distance to the venue. Invitations will be sent according to cumulative performance in the Preliminary Rounds, with specific times and location communicated at least 30 days prior.

IIOT International Finals

The IIOT International Finals will be conducted tenatively in late May, 2027 in Varna, Bulagria. The U.S. team selection is based on National Finals results; more information announced in advance of the event.
